Hard rockin’ ‘70s style band Crash Midnight has been busy since the release of their Lost In The City debut in 2014. The band has relocated headquarters from the east coast in Boston to the left coast of the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. Building off the momentum of the first album, Crash Midnight has released a new single, “Roxy”, and is working on new songs with famed producer Steve Thompson; the man responsible for recording the legendary debut from Guns N’ Roses, Appetite For Destruction.

May 25, 2016

“Roxy” anticipates the release of “Lost In The City,” CRASH MIDNIGHT’s new album dropping in September via Musicarchy Media in Europe and Asia and will be remixed, remastered, and repackaged with “Roxy” for the US as well later this fall. The band is also launching the exclusive CRASH MIDNIGHT App today, created in cooperation withCayenne and available now on the App Store and Google Play.  The App will offer exclusive music videos, merchandise, contests, free song downloads, and provide unprecedented access to the band through its unique BACKSTAGE portal.

Crash Midnight may very well become the new “bad boys of rock and roll,” following in the footsteps of bands like Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue and others.  They certainly have the musical chops and attitude to fill a void in the genre, but did they really do anything so distasteful that YouTube felt the need to censor and remove the video for “Roxy” – the band’s latest single – 72 hours after it went live?

May 25, 2016

Directed by Ron Sperling and produced by Ron Sperling and Bo Toof, “Roxy” chronicles the raucous, gritty experience of a young stripper in the infamous 1960’s “Combat Zone” of Boston. With the song’s theme in mind, Sperling created this intense video that couples the explosiveness of the band’s live performance along with jaw-dropping raw visuals that have already created quite a stir leading up to its release.

On the 30th anniversary of recording GUNS ‘N’ ROSES iconic debut album Appetite For Destruction, legendary producer Steve Thompson (METALLICA, PRINCE, DAVID BOWIE, GUNS ‘N’ ROSES) went into the studio to produce American hard rock band,CRASH MIDNIGHT. The first result is the adrenaline-filled smash hit “Roxy” whose controversial and edgy music video drops today on YouTube

Boston-born, Vegas-based Crash Midnight have been pushing forward for the past few years, proving the hard rock game isn’t a senior citizen cash-grab. Today, they take a brief look back at one of Boson’s most notorious neighborhoods in “Roxy”, their own whiskey-fueled ode to the long-lost Combat Zone.

Drinks slingin’, folks singing, and guitars ringing!!! I think the only thing keeping this group in their right mind is the bass line backed up by a steady beat of the drums. Nothing stands in the way of Crash Midnight and the vision they together have created. Check out what the group had to say during our interview.

November 09, 2014

So, how do you describe a band like Crash Midnight? Classic rock makes them sound like anything but the brash young upstarts they are, and tags like glam rock and hair metal don't fit either. How about this - they're a rock n' roll band

December 08, 2014

Today we finally got our grubby hands on a copy of Crash Midnight’s “Lost In The City” debut album and we gave the CD (yes, those still do exist) some good spins to find out what these Boston rockers are all about. Check out out our track by track breakdown and down forget to rate it yourself on the bottom of this page. Let’s dive in!

December 06, 2014

Crash Midnight is a newcomer quintet from Boston US. Even though it’s been, more or less, a decade since the “Fresh From Detox” EP was out, it seems that now they’ve finally made it. They’ve finally released their debut album entitled “Lost in the City”. These guys have studied their (hard) rock & roll lessons very-well. That’s obvious throughout the album!

October 31, 2014

Crash Midnight has energy on stage that demands your attention and truly succeeds in getting the crowd involved, which a lot of people don’t realize is so important in this industry. We had the opportunity to sit down with Alex Donaldson (lead guitar) and Shaun Soho (lead vocals) to talk about where they came from, where they’ve been, where they’re headed, and more...

Boston’s own Crash Midnight came on first and dialed the clock back to the Toxic Twin era of prime Aerosmith, and played up the sleaze factor by having a dancer clad in a bikini top join them for their last song...

October 26, 2014

These guys came out onto the stage at 100%, and never lost momentum. With crowd favorites like “151,” “City Girl,” and a cover of Guns N’ Roses classic “Mr. Brownstone,” these guys delivered to the approval of their fans...

November 04, 2014

Crash Midnight may not be a household name YET! Brace yourselves…It’s coming! Their name will be on the tip of your tongue very soon. The band aptly got it’s name in true rock ‘n roll fashion. Front man Shaun Soho got a late night call from his brother Bo telling him he had a great name for a band, Crash Midnight. Followed by him asking for a late night ride since he had just wrecked his car...

Crash Midnight is the name of this awesome quintet of musicians. The band is developing a rapidly growing following from their live performances, digital releases and video airplay. Combine these factors with the smokin’ hot, soon to be released new CD- “Lost In The City“; leads me to believe Crash Midnight will soon be a household name and moving up to headliner status quickly...

I go to dozens of concerts a year. While I usually enjoy the music that I hear, a lot of the times, with bands I'm less familiar with, it slowly begins to escape me as the weeks go on. A few days ago, I was contacted by someone with a band out of Boston called Crash Midnight, asking me if I'd like to cover their show when they come to Kansas City, on Sunday night. Usually when I'm contacted like this, links to the band's music is provided. After hearing only the first 20 seconds of Diamond Boulevard, I could not agree fast enough...

If you want a hard party rock n roll band out of Boston, these are your guys. Crash Midnight is currently touring with the Pretty Reckless and Adelita’s Way. Recently, KISS bassist Gene Simmons caused quite a ruckus by stating in an interview with Esquire Magazine that “Rock is Finally Dead.” I’m not sure if I agree with the “God Of Thunder” on that point. While I admit that the system is definitely flawed, the influx of new, hungry, rock and roll torch-bearers will always be there to breath new life into the genre...

September 21, 2014

Sunday night at Revolution Live, The Pretty Reckless rocked the house with their new album and an out-of-this-world energy. The show opened with the Boston-based band Crash Midnight. August 18, 2014

Boston’s Crash Midnight has a load of potential. These hard rockers bring much energy to the table and while they are not reinventing the wheel or cultivating a new species of metal, they do a great job of crafting spicy and memorable songs. There are plenty of songs to groove and rock along to as there of hints of Buckcherry as vocalist Shaun Soho...
